Geneva, Switzerland
Claire is Swiss and has lived in Geneva most of her life. Chris Archer interviewed Claire in preparation for the new project. As we like to know more about the participants, we create cameo films of each one. These films will come out in December on our website, giving you the opportunity to get to know Claire and the others.
We took a coffee in the sunshine, just next to the University of Geneva, as that is where Claire meets one of her best friends every Friday. As we chatted, Claire shared:
“Having the chance to participate in a scientific project means a great deal to me. It gives me the opportunity to do something with my life that I never thought I would be able to do.”
“I want to learn as much as possible, discover Camilla and see how she works. I want to understand what her work involves and discover a different world, with its own ways of doing things.”
“People rarely take the time to understand how we live. Yet sometimes, a simple gesture from a stranger can make all the difference. When despair takes hold, it is often someone unexpected who reaches out and helps us through.”
