PUB YARN - Youth Mood Disorders

11 March 2026

What an incredible evening — warm, still, and just right. Thank you to Naber Bar for your generous hospitality and for extending the happy hour to our guests; the venue was perfect.

We welcomed a diverse cross-section of attendees who were clearly captivated by our three passionate speakers. The presentations were informative and thought‑provoking, and the Q&A that followed was high quality, curious, supportive and kindly spirited. Despite a higher-than-usual no‑show rate (and some citywide traffic delays that evening), the event was a clear success: it sparked important conversations and helped forge new friendships and connections.

A huge thank you to the City of Vincent for the generous community grant that makes gatherings like this possible. Our deepest gratitude also goes to our speakers — Dr Jamie Beros, donelle, and Brad Roberts — and to our popular MC Lara Slotar. Thanks as well to Lucas Lee for managing sign‑in, seating, speaker setup and signage behind the scenes.

We’re grateful to everyone who came. We’d love your feedback.‍ ‍

She has asked that we not share her story publicly, and we wholeheartedly respect that. There's a meaningful difference between speaking to a supportive, intimate crowd and broadcasting to the entire internet — and some stories deserve that protection. She has give permission for us to share some of her incredible artwork she created during her TMS treatment.
